On December 12, 2024 at the Benton Event Center in Saline County, City of Flippin Police School Resource Officer (SRO) Corporal Lonnie Stone was recognized along with other law enforcement officers from all around the state by the Arkansas Attorney General's Office.
Corporal Stone was recognized by the Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin and his office as Corporal Stone was awarded the Dwayne Yarbrough Distinguished Service Award for his dedication to working with youth with in the Flippin School District and how decision they make could affect their future.

The Flippin Police Department will check your property when you are away! We provide this service for Flippin residents. To schedule a Residential Check, please call City Hall and relay your name, address and dates of leave. Residential checks typically take place once in the daytime hours and once during the night. Our officers will perform a walk around your property to make certain your home is secured.
